The MUZE - Premiere of Ukrainian Theatre STRUM UA

Український театр STRUM UA представляє першу україномовну виставу у місті Калгарі "THE MUZE".
Це надзвичайна подія у культурному житті міста Калгарі!

"The MUZE" буде йти протягом трьох вечорів - 5, 6 та 7 вересня у приміщенні West Village Theatre.

Що відбувається, коли людина відчуває натхнення Музи, але зробити перший крок їй заважає думка суспільства, традиції родини, поклик крові?
Ця вистава про двох жінок місткинь.

Перша частина складена за мемуарами Софії Яблонської української тревелблогерки, письменниці, журналістки, фотографа, яка була однією з перших жінок світу, що зробила навколосвітню мандрівку.
В умовах сучасності, це уявити не важко. Візьміть до уваги, що це було на початку 20 століття, коли не було прийнято, щоб українці: народ без своєї державності, робили репортажі про подорожі.На той час це могли робити тільки європейці.

Друга частина вистави про видатну письменницю ромського походження Брониславу Вайс, за мотивами її віршів в оригіналі і драматичної поеми української поетеси Ліни Костенко «Циганська муза».
Вистава "THE MUZE" про два різні і дуже близькі шляхи двох талановитих жінок.

Шляхи до свободи самовираження, свободи бажань і цінностей, свободи бути собою!

What happens when a person feels the inspiration of the Muse, but the opinion of society, family traditions, the call of blood prevents him from taking the first step?
This play is about two women in arts.
The first part is based on the memoirs of Sofya Yablonska, a Ukrainian travel blogger, writer, journalist, photographer, who was one of the first women in the world to travel around the world.

In modern conditions, it is not difficult to imagine.But it was at the beginning of the 20th century, when it was not accepted for Ukrainians: a nation without their statehood, to make travel reports. At that time, only Europeans could do it.

The second part of the performance is about the outstanding writer of Roma origin, Bronyslava Weiss, based on her poems in the original and the dramatic poem "The Gypsy Muse" by the Ukrainian poetess Lina Kostenko.
The performance "THE MUZE" is about two different and very close paths of two talented women. Paths to freedom of self-expression, freedom of desires and values, freedom to be yourself!
