The Musical genius SALIL CHOWDHURY

Salil Chowdhury is one of the greatest music directors of all time. He is referred to as the composer of composers. His brilliance in integrating Indian folk melodies with Western orchestration is unparalleled. In particular, his usage of chorus and choir is simply mind-blowing.

We will showcase a curated collection of Hindi film hits from his diverse oeuvre. These represent films like Anand, Annadata, Do Bigha Zamin, Chhoti Si Baat, Chhaya, Jaagte Raho, Kabuliwala, Madhumati, Maya, Mere Apne, Rajnigandha, Parakh and others.

These songs will be performed live by leading stage artistes Sarvesh Mishra, Dhanashri Deshpande, Anupama Roy and N S Kishore Kumar to the accompanied of the leading orchestra led by Chetan Upadhyaya. The chorus and choir section will have Veena, Sonal, Nishigandha, Rahul and Nitin, the famous five of chorus in Mumbai.
