The Muddy River Band are coming back to The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre!This will be music to the ears of all who attended the SEAC for the last year's sold out unplugged performance by the band. But this year will be even better as the band bring their full 7 piece live show to the stage on Sat. 27th June 2026!
"What could be better than performing to an enthusiastic audience and singing the songs of your musical hero!"
So says Muddy River Band member Willie Headon who along with fellow musicians and singers Pete Kavanagh and Pat Silke perform the songs of their respective music icons Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Van Morrison. The three lads have all been music professionals for many years working as songwriters, performers and record producers both individually and alongside many well known Irish and International artists.
What started out as a one off gig just for fun has exploded into a highly successful show with standing ovations after every performance. "It was just supposed to be for a bit of enjoyment but the response was so good and the requests for us to do it all again just meant we had to keep the show going" says Pete Kavanagh.
Along with the other exceptional Muddy River Band musicians, Headon, Kavanagh and Silke perform an enthralling set of Young, Dylan and Morrison classics. If you're a fan of any or indeed all of these amazing artists, you simply have to see this show!
