About the Show:
The Mountaintop by award-winning playwright Katori Hall is a groundbreaking play that offers a fresh and intimate perspective on the iconic civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr. Set in Memphis on the eve of King's assassination, the play imagines a fictional encounter between King and a mysterious hotel maid, Camae, as they engage in a poignant and thought-provoking dialogue that delves into King's humanity, fears, and legacy.
