The Mother Thread: A Community Art Workshop

Join us in person for The Mother Thread, a super fun and laid-back community art workshop. This community art project explores care, motherhood, and the people who have helped raise and support children. Open to anyone who has supported or cared for a child, all forms of care are welcome!

You are invited to share a short story, symbol, or reflection.

This can include images, drawings, paintings, collage, some of the children's art, words, baby clothing, or anything else that represents your journey. All materials will be provided, however please bring along any personal items included above that you wish to include.

Contributions may be stitched into a collaborative quilt that will be exhibited in May as part of a final degree project, consent will be required.

No previous art experience necessary and refreshments are included.
