The quest through Colorhues continues.
Though much of the stolen color has been restored, the land is still unsettled. Magical energy swirls unpredictably, familiar spirits are searching for their adventurers, and hidden visions of the future begin to surface. The lingering magic of the warlock Nefarious Nervin has not fully faded, and only returning adventurers are ready to face what comes next.
Designed for artists who have completed The Most Colorful Quest: Part 1, this 4 week homeschool adventure deepens the story through imagination, collaboration, and hands on artmaking. Students return to Colorhues as experienced questers, ready to explore new magic and creative challenges.
Each week, students create meaningful art projects while continuing the story they helped shape.
Weekly Quest Path
Week 1 (2/20) The Familiar Finds You
Every adventurer is chosen by a magical familiar. Students embroider their own familiar companion, learning embroidery basics while creating a symbolic guide to accompany them on future quests.
Week 2 (3/6) The Orbs of Insight
Visions of the past and future begin to appear across Colorhues. Students create a magical orb and fortune teller, exploring mixed media and imaginative design as they interpret the messages revealed.
Week 3 (3/20) The Colors Must Work Together
To stabilize the land, colors must be united. Students participate in a collaborative watercolor printing experience, learning about color interaction while working together to create a shared piece of art.
Week 4 (4/3) The Celebration of Senses
As Colorhues finds balance once more, adventurers gather for a sensory dough party. Students experiment with texture, scent, and color, creating playful sensory doughs in a joyful celebration of creativity and community.
By the End of the Quest, students will leave with:
A collection of imaginative textile, mixed media, and sensory art pieces
A continuing story built through collaboration and creative choice
Increased confidence in artistic skills, storytelling, and problem solving
Perfect for homeschoolers ages 6 to 12 who love adventure, storytelling, and hands on art.
