The MoonBattle Conference 2024 By Moonpreneur: Robotics Quick Quest

Moonpreneur extends a warm invitation to you and your child for our upcoming Robotics Quick Quest - Fastest Finger First (Inspired by Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?) on Sunday, April 21th, at 9:30 AM PST.

Prize Money: $8000

The competition has three age groups

• 7-8 years
• 9-11 years
• 12 + years

Anyone can compete in this fast-paced quiz-style challenge and win by combining their robotics knowledge and general awareness with quick thinking.

Competition Structure

• The quiz will include multiple-choice questions
• Each question will have four possible answers.
• Participants will have 2 minutes to answer each question

Competition Rules

• Lifelines Allowed: Participants may use lifelines, including seeking help from friends or family present at the event.
• Speed is Key: Winners are decided based on participants' fastest and correct answers.
• Fair Play: Avoid unfair practices

Scoring

• Points will be awarded based on the speed and accuracy of responses.
• Individuals/teams’ scores will be monitored throughout the quiz.

To join the competition, follow these steps.

Step 1: Register for the competition

• After registration, you will receive a confirmation email and notification regarding the preliminary round/Fastest Finger First Round.

Step 2: Download the app

You will receive the app information via email

Step 3: Fastest finger round - participate via app

• The preliminary round will be organized three days before the competition
• During this round, you'll get 10 questions with a timer. Arrange the answers in the correct order.
• Participants completing the task in the shortest time qualify for the next round at ICC in Milpitas on April 21.
  

Step 4: Visit the event venue for the finale.

• The final round will feature the top 10 participants from each age group.
• Final round consists of 10 technology-related questions for each age group.
• The final round will be the Buzzer Round

Buzzer Round Format

• The participant who presses the buzzer first gets the chance to answer.
• If the answer is incorrect, the opportunity passes to the next person who buzzes in after the first participant, and so on.
• Scoring based on the speed of providing correct answers
• The top three winners in each group will receive awards and prizes.
