The Montana Constitution Roadshow - Hometown Helena

Every state has laws. Montana has a love letter.
Join Upper Seven Law and Hometown Helena for a morning dedicated to the remarkable 1972 document that Montanans wrote for Montanans, born out of a rare and deliberate act of grassroots democracy.
This isn't a dry civics lecture. It's a story that traces how a group of citizens sat down and built a constitution meant to actually reflect the land, the people, and the stubborn independence that defines this state.
This presentation unpacks what a constitutional democracy really is and why it matters. It’s all about the rule of law—the invisible architecture of a free society. And it’s about what makes our constitution one-of-a-kind, from groundbreaking environmental protections to direct guarantees of individual rights.
