Celebrating Black Motherhood
Black mothers pour endlessly into their children, families and communities, yet their sacrifices, strength and stories are not celebrated nearly enough.
The Mommies was created to change that.
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, we will roll out the pink carpet for seven extraordinary women who represent the beauty, strength, sacrifice, resilience and power of Black motherhood.
These women are not simply nominees. They are awardees.
Throughout the evening, we will share their stories, celebrate their motherhood journeys and reveal the special award each woman will receive.
This is not a regular event. It is an intentional, elegant celebration created to make Black mothers feel seen, appreciated and honored.
