Kicking off our Spring Programme of ‘Real Talk Fridays’ and grazing boards.
Join us for a truly special night as we welcome Tony Dow, the BAFTA-winning director who helped craft the heart, humour and unforgettable magic of Only Fools and Horses, and whose remarkable career spans some of Britain’s best-loved comedies, including Birds of a Feather, Nightingales, Hunderby, Big School, Stella, After You’ve Gone, and many more.
This intimate evening offers fans a rare chance to step behind the camera and into the world of Peckham’s most loved family; Del Boy, Rodney, Grandad, Uncle Albert and the Trotters’ wonderfully chaotic universe. But it’s also an opportunity to explore the creative mind behind a director who has shaped the tone, timing and spirit of British television comedy for decades.
Expect hilarious, heartfelt and rarely heard stories from Tony’s years on Only Fools and Horses, insights into working with David Jason, Nicholas Lyndhurst and the legendary cast, and a closer look at how some of the show’s most iconic moments were created… from falling chandeliers to falling through bars.
