At The Modern Agora, we are building modern versions of the ancient Greek agoras - gathering places that were central to the development of democracy, public discourse and social impact, while serving as the foundation for community life.

Join our events to discuss what really matters, start local initiatives and build a stronger community with the people in your area.

👤 Who Would Most Enjoy Attending?

Our space is for everyone that is interested in meaningful dialogue, building new connections and making a difference in their immediate environment. People of all ages and ethnic/religious backgrounds have attended our Agoras - we encourage diversity of thought and personality.

💡 What Topics Do We Address?

Topics can range from personal and social issues to politics, philosophy and spirituality. For example, at previous events, we've explored and developed solutions for “How to Build Environments That Foster Flow State”, “Happiness on Decline in Canada”, “The Impact of AI on Wealth Distribution” or "What Makes a Great Person to Live With?

We encourage you to suggest topics you are passionate about in the sign-up form – most of what we cover comes directly from you.

ℹ️ Here Is What to Expect!

• We will spend the first half discussing our topic and the second to develop concrete solutions - there is time to socialize too of course
• We will provide you with an intentional structure, material (pens, post-its etc.) and the environment to help making your conversations more productive

• You will be able to choose one of 4-5 issues to work on

• Topics will be split in groups of 5-6

• We will have some light brunch & coffee for you
