Gwen's lover, Leland, is falling back in love with his wife. Gwen is not happy and wants Margaret (the wife) to convince Leland not to leave her. Margaret, desperate to adopt a baby, naturally refuses.
Things get more complicated when a lady from the adoption agency arrives to interview Leland and Margaret to screen them as potential parents. When it turns out Leland is actually locked in the trunk of Gwen’s car across town, the two women must act fast to salvage the situation!
