Join me for a spirited evening of some of the best East Coast Canadian and Scottish Celtic/Folk music on offer when The Mighty Ship teams up with The Brantford Pipes and Drums and The Angus Academy of Highland Dance for a cooperative fundraiser for both the East Coast Canada and Scottish Villages for the 2026 Brantford International Cultural Villages Festival. A hybrid food plate, featuring staples from both cultures, such as: donair, sausage roll, baloney, haggis, and beans is on offer for 15$ and can be preordered by emailing “brantfordpipesand [email protected]”. A screech-in ceremony and, rumour has it, a visit from the Mummers are also planned. Doors open at 7 and the show starts at 7:30.
