​Ric has over 10 years of experience working across the travel, tourism and technology sectors, and currently heads up Business Development at Inspiretec. In this session, Ric will look at the idea of applying digital twin thinking to the traveller. He’ll explore how the data travel companies already hold across bookings, CRM and customer interactions can build an increasingly detailed picture of each customer, and how this can be used to improve sales, service and business efficiency. He’ll also consider how AI can take this further, helping travel companies better understand their customers and determine the next best action.

​Alex is CEO and Founder of Autoura, using forms of urban mobility (such as electric scooters, shared bikes & robotaxis) to operate real world experiences using AI tour guides. However, Alex could also be said to be our very own travel industry futurologist as for many years he has consistently been at the forefront of new tech developments. In this capacity, Alex will take a look at how the Metaverse is developing and give us his thoughts on where Immersive Experiences, Digital Twins, and the Next-Gen Destination may be heading. ​
