Bring an open mind and heart to this night of music, advocacy and fundraising, dedicated to the refugees who have recently been released from the Park Hotel Prison. Organised by Students for Refugee Justice (S4RJ), this evening will celebrate the courage and resilience of refugees in the face of inhumane government policies and advocate for a society in which refugees and asylum seekers are welcome.
Our stellar line-up of DJs and live artists for the evening:
Brown Suga Princess
Turbo Thot
Jo Jodun
Savage The Girl
All profits from ticket sales will contribute directly to Refugee Voices’ existing project to raise $1000 for each recently released refugee. We are so grateful for Miscellania’s generosity in making this event possible, and to all the artists for donating their time and incredible skills. On the night, you will have the opportunity to advocate for freedom & permanent protection for refugees.
Entry is free for First Nations people and people with a refugee background. We also have a select number of free tickets for those who don’t have the funds. Please contact S4RJ (@students4refugeejustice: if you would like one.
If you can’t attend the event and would still like to contribute, please consider sharing and donating to the fundraiser via our GoFundMe:
Miscellania has a no strobe policy. It is not wheelchair accessible.
This event takes place on stolen Wurundjeri land. S4RJ would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands on which we meet and advocate, the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation, and pay respects to elders past, present and emerging.
