Root Medicine & Equinox Blessings 🍂
Join Madeline Hoffman and Amanda Rose, herbalists, land tenders, health practitioners, & ceremonialists, for an experiential, outdoor day retreat rooted in herbalism, animism, ritual, and food as medicine.
As summer gives way to autumn and the balance of light and darkness shifts, we gather in the garden at Earthstar Farm to celebrate Mabon - the Autumn Equinox.
Together in community, we'll harvest plant medicines from the land, walk the labyrinth, and participate in a seasonal ritual experience honoring Mabon and celebrating balance, release, harvest, and abundance.
We'll explore traditional uses of these medicines, as well as their spiritual, energetic, and healing properties, and make beautiful, potent medicines to take home.
This moment marks a sacred time when light and darkness meet as equals, inviting us to pause at the threshold between what has been and what is yet to come.
This is an intentionally curated space to go within and work with the spirits of the land in ceremony and community.

- Experiential practices that take you from a state of disconnect and overwhelm to an empowered, grounded state of being

This offering is for you if you’re feeling the pull to come home to yourself, to the earth, & to a slower and more sacred way of being.
It's for anyone interested in natural healing, plant spirit medicine, food as medicine, or incorporating more herbal remedies into your life. It's for beginners on the plant path and seasoned plant-lovers alike!
This could also touch the spirit of those navigating chronic illness or an emotionally/spiritually challenging chapter, who are ready to listen to their body and receive guidance from plant spirits. You don't need any experience with herbalism to be here, just curiosity and a willingness to open to the healing the earth invokes within us. 🌿

Info: Delight in culinary herbalism and food-as-medicine in practice! This will be lighter fare honoring the harvest and traditions of Equinox celebrations. Please bring your own additional food to stay satiated if you feel you need more. Compostable plates, utensils, and paper cups will be provided, but please bring your own water bottle
