The Meaning of Flowers
Join us for The Meaning of Flowers, a charming journey into the Victorian art of expressing emotion through blooms. Discover the stories and symbolism behind beloved flowers like dahlias and nasturtiums, and learn how entire messages were once shared without a single word. You will even have the chance to create a message of your own, in the language of flowers.
This relaxed and engaging program is free to attend, with no registration required. Presented by the Benton County Master Gardeners at the Key Wing Education Center, it’s the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon surrounded by beauty, history, and a touch of whimsy.
GARDEN TOUR NOTE:
The morning begins with a free, 1-hour guided tour of Vera’s Victorian Garden beginning at 10:00 a.m., led by a Benton County Master Gardener.
