Founding member of Stockton’s Wing Maurice Lennon is joined by multi-instrumentalists Ciara Brennan and Chris Dawson to perform a dynamic and diverse repertoire of traditional and newly composed music.
Maurice Lennon is one of the most instantly recognisable names in Irish folk. He was the youngest ever winner of the Fleadh Cheoil Senior Fiddle Championship and has a 27 year career with Stockton’s Wing and a life touring with giants of Irish music to his name.
The Maurice Lennon Trio is completed by Dublin singer-songwriter Ciara Brennan and multi-instrumentalist Chris Dawson – already an established duo in their own right having performed, composed and recorded intensely together in recent years.
Collectively as a trio, Maurice, Ciara and Chris are kindred musical souls combining skill and a fierce respect and passion for traditional music with an inquisitiveness and creativity that resists boundaries and constantly seeks to push the envelope and blur the lines between genres.
