MC and host Alan McElroy
Alan, an acclaimed Irish comedian, actor, and MC, is our host for the evening. His recent nomination for Best MC at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards and his stellar performances at the Edinburgh Fringe and Electric Picnic, including sold-out shows in Australia, speak volumes about his talent. His show at the NZ International Comedy Festival was a hit, receiving rave reviews and more stars!
Josh Thomson
Josh is a household name and a New Zealand comedy scene legend. He is known for regularly appearing on comedy panel shows like 7Days, Have You Been Paying Attention, Patriot Brains, and The Project. As an actor, he's been seen on Netflix's The New Legends Of Monkey, NBC's Young Rock, and local hits such as Good Grief, INSiDE, Wellington Paranormal, and Educators.
Liv McKenzie
Liv has become a staple in the comedy scene with regular appearances on THREE’s 7Days, TVNZ’s Have You Been Paying Attention?, and Laughs Unleashed, as well as a breakthrough performance at the Best Foods Comedy Gala.
Tevita Manukia
Manukia is known for his unique and humorous perspective on his Tongan heritage. He has made regular appearances on TV3's "AotearoHa" and is a familiar face on New Zealand's comedy circuit. Manukia's work extends beyond stand-up comedy; he is renowned for his engaging live performances and is celebrated for his ability to connect with audiences through relatable and culturally insightful comedy.
