The Mary Stokes Band

During Mary’s exceptionally successful career spanning several decades, she has been internationally hailed as one of the most highly regarded Blues vocalists of her era. Performing with numerous legendary giants of the Blues, this award winning singer has captivated Global audiences with the passion, honesty and integrity which she has continually brought to her interpretation of contemporary Blues music. During the past few years Mary’s sound has been revitalized by the addition of the supremely talented guitarist Sarah Michelle to her band. Along with her long time sideman harmonica maestro Brian Palm, she will be joined in Arthur’s by ace bassist Zamo Riffman and drummer extraordinaire Jay Oglesby completing the band’s lineup. The Mary Stokes Band recently won the Irish Blues Challenge held in Arthur’s, and her guest appearances with Grainne Duffy and Mary Coughlan at their shows in Arthur’s raised the roof.
