We begin with an evening designed to make the markets feel less intimidating.
Meet our visiting educators, enjoy finger foods and non-alcoholic refreshments, connect with other attendees, and explore the fundamentals of trading and investing.
We’ll break down what trading actually involves, what candlestick charts can tell us, how traders approach risk, and why understanding your decisions matters more than simply following someone else’s moves.
You’ll hear different perspectives, ask questions, and get familiar with the concepts that will come to life during Friday’s live session.

DAY 2 — FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20
EXPERIENCE THE MARKETS LIVE
7:45 AM – 11:00 AM
Start the morning with breakfast, coffee, and conversations before joining our educators for a live market experience.
Learn how traders prepare for the day, identify important price levels, interpret signals, consider risk, and create a plan before the market opens.
Then, at 8:30 AM Calgary time, experience the opening of the U.S. stock market through live chart analysis and guided commentary.
Watch how expectations meet reality. See how prices move, why market conditions can change quickly, and why sometimes the smartest decision is not to take a trade.
We’ll finish with a practical market breakdown, questions, and opportunities to connect.
