Calling all green thumbs! The Mark Twain House & Museum, in partnership with the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center, is excited to invite Twain enthusiasts and plant lovers alike to our 2nd Annual Plant Sale.
The Plant Sale will include plants from The Mark Twain House and Harriet Beecher Stowe gardens, as well as plants generously provided by our local sponsors and partners. On top of an exciting array of horticultural offerings, guests can enter into a drawing to win beautiful garden accessories, participate in one of The MTH&M’s garden scavenger hunts, and enjoy live music courtesy of singer and guitarist Brett Potter!
The stars of the Plant Sale are undoubtedly the two creeping fig clippings we have to offer those looking to take a piece of living history home with them. Taken from the Mark Twain House Conservatory, these clippings are the direct descendants of a plant the Clemens Family planted in their own conservatory.
Our gardeners will be on-site to chat, answer questions, and take guests on garden tours to explore the beautiful gardens of The Mark Twain House & Museum and the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center. We can’t wait to see you!
