Saxophonist Mark Ginsburg has initiated a number of exciting and diverse jazz projects including The Mark Ginsburg Band, Homage, the Mezza / Ginsburg Ensemble, and the popular South African Project. And in the wings is a new recording to be released later this year, Oceans Together. His Generations Album was nominated for Best Independent Jazz Album by AIR in 2010 and Convergence was awarded Best Jazz CD 2018 by IAP in the USA
The Mark Ginsburg Band featuring Gerard Masters (piano), Brett Hirst (bass), and Nic Cecire (drums) performs at Foundry616 on Saturday 28 May 2022. The band will be playing a mix of original compositions, old and new, as well as a selection of jazz standards.
