The Maritime Standard Awards took place on November 6th, 2024, at a glamorous and high-quality event held at The Atlantis, the Palm, Dubai, under the patronage of His Highness, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline. The occasion, the 11th time the Awards have been held, confirmed the status of the TMS Awards as one of the world's leading shipping and maritime Awards gala dinners and the premier event of their kind in the region.

At the 2024 Awards more than 1100 guests gathered in the iconic Atlantis Ballroom to witness the presentation of 32 different Awards, and enjoy the spectacular ceremony, hosted by leading TV actress and entertainer, Debra Stephenson, and local media personality and presenter Rania Ali, as well as some top-quality live entertainment and a four-course banquet.

The audience witnessed the much-coveted awards being presented to the winners, in line with the recommendations of an experienced and independent judging panel. This included several special individual awards, recognising the contributions made by high achieving industry leaders and innovators.

These remain the only Awards of their kind that represent all sectors within the maritime and shipping industries, a factor that has been evident since their inception. They are in particular the only Awards where all the major shipowners and operators from across the region are represented, something that TMS is extremely proud of.

The next TMS Awards will be held on 5th November 2025 at the Atlantis, the Palm, Dubai.
