Mariana Verna is a Magandjin-based jazz vocalist and arranger with over 10 years of experience performing contemporary music.
With influences of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Carmen McRae, Mariana loves a diverse range of music, including swing, bebop, Latin, and fusion. After performing around Brisbane for the past 5 years in the jazz idiom, she has made a name for herself locally as a bandleader at venues such as The Burrow and Death & Co. and on a larger scale at QPAC's green stage, Queensland Conservatorium Theatre, and the Tivoli.
Mariana is excited to be adding The Ruby to her list, joined by Jordy Stitt on keys.
