BTWSC/African Histories Revisited and TAOBQ (The African Or Black Question) present in association with Friends Of Marcus Garvey Bust Collective and Brent Museum and Archives the sixth Marcus Garvey Annual Pan-Africanism Presentation 2024.
This is a family-friendly event.
With the UN's IDPAD (International Decade for People of African Descent) 2015-24 initiative coming to an end this year, and the 2024 Presentation being possibly the last one, this event promises to be particularly thought-provoking!
There will be 2 introductory presentations, one by Bro Cecil Gutzmore on Global/ Pan-Africanism and an overview of IDPAD by an eminent community educator, to help the audience better understand the concept of Global/ Pan-Africanism and analyse the importance of IDPAD and discuss whether to campaign for another Decade.
The programme, which is convened and chaired respectively by community activists Kwaku and Nana Asante, will be interspersed with videos and music. There will be a few community stalls (enquire via: [email protected]).
