The Manchester Health Film Festival (MHeFF) is the first EVER city-wide Film Festival that brings together outstanding creative talents, health professionals and the public to discuss health through film.We are here to encourage a culture that fosters empathy, clarity and understanding of health themes, whilst creating discourse involving health conditions that remain hidden but affect our livelihoods and communities.
This festival offers city wide boot camps around film training, allowing for entries to be accessible from all levels of creatives and age ranges. It also collaborates with a plethora of local organisations, institutions and communities to make this a city wide affair.
No one should be left out when it comes to films for health.
Entries to categories for the first ever film festival are free.
Prizes:
Each category will have a winner alongside a runner up. The winner for each category will receive £1000. Runners up prize TBC.
However, the 'Best Emerging Filmmaker' category will have three winners, each awarded a £250 voucher as their prize.
