Come and join us to watch our production of 'The Man Whose Mother Was A Pirate' - a compilation of fabulous stories by Margaret Mahy. Follow the adventures of Sam, who escapes from his office job and runs away with his Pirate Mother to find the sea. On the way, he meets haymakers, a philosopher, a travelling circus, a crocodile, a shark – and pirates galore! With a happy, lively company, brilliant songs and a live band – it’s not to be missed.
Margaret read our play and listened to the music when we first performed it, and gave us her permission to let her stories live in this different way.
The show will take place in Selly Oak Methodist Church hall and tickets will all be purchased by donation on the door. Doors will open half an hour before each performance start time.
