The Post-Meridian Radio Players are proud to present our original adaptation of Dashiell Hammett’s 1930 novel The Maltese Falcon!
Adapted from the novel that inspired the 1941 John Huston noir film, The Maltese Falcon features San Francisco private eye Sam Spade in his debut appearance. When trouble arrives at Spade's doorstep in the form of the desperately tragic Miss Wonderly, it drags him into a web of intrigue, deceit, betrayal, and murder as several eccentric criminals seek to obtain the titular falcon.
PMRP veterans Tori Queeno and Jonathan Mendoza return to direct their original audio adaptation of Dashiell Hammett's 1930 hardboiled detective novel. Starring Pieter Wallace as Sam Spade and Emma Rottersman as Wonderly, and featuring Foley coordination by Jaimie Carlson.
The first weekend of performances will offer two evening performances; 8PM on July 17th and July 18th at the Guild Church in Davis Square.
The second weekend will be at a new venue for PMRP - the Plaza Theatres at Boston Center for the Arts (BCA) - and will offer three evening performances and two matinees: 7:30PM on July 23rd, July 24th, and July 25th and 2PM on July 25 and July 26th. Tickets are $20 for General Admission, or $15 for Students/Seniors. Please note: the BCA charges a fee for tickets purchased online or over the phone, buy tickets directly from the in person box office to avoid the added fee.
