The Making Space is a monthly gathering centered around creativity, connection, and the meaningful conversations that can happen when we create alongside one another.
We created this space because so many of us have things waiting quietly for our attention. Projects we meant to finish. Pieces needing repair. Parts of ourselves asking to be tended to.
When our hands are busy, something shifts. We soften. We open. We make space for connection in a way that feels natural and grounded.
June’s theme is: Mending.
Bring something to mend if you’d like, clothing to patch, a piece to repair, or any creative project calling to you. All forms of making are welcome.
Throughout the evening we will weave in gentle prompts and conversation around what it means to repair, restore, care for, and tend to the things that matter to us.
Cocktails, mocktails, and light food available for purchase from Emma Rue’s.
Come make something.
Come make space.
