The Maker’s Swap

A cosy little gathering for creatives, hobby makers, bakers, artists, and crafty people alike.

Each guest brings 5 handmade items to swap. This could be anything from baked goods and candles to crochet, sewing, preserves, ceramics, art, self-care products, and more. In return, you’ll leave with 5 unique handmade treasures created by other local makers. There will be structured swap rounds to make sure everyone gets a fair chance to choose pieces they love.

Alongside the swap itself, there’ll be time to browse, chat, meet fellow creatives, and enjoy a slow, cosy atmosphere filled with thoughtful handmade things.

This isn’t about perfection or professional selling, it’s about creativity, connection, and celebrating the joy of making things by hand.

The Makers Swap will be held in the Community Meeting Room at Birkenhead Library.
