Your teen isn't avoiding people. They're avoiding not knowing what to do when they get there.
The Maker Studio is a 90 minute DIY workshop for teens, designed by a board certified behavior analyst. It uses ABA the way it's meant to be used with teenagers: we teach one social skill at the start, the projects give teens a natural reason to use it, and we make sure the moments where they do use it go well. We also share a couple of simple strategies for when anxiety shows up, so your teen has a plan instead of shutting down. No worksheets, no role play, and nobody gets put on the spot.
What to expect:
- Three DIY project options, all supplies provided, and every one is something your teen will actually use
- Before we wrap, everyone makes a small positivity token with an encouraging message to trade or gift to someone in the group
- Teens leave with something they made and something made for them
$50 per session
