🎉Join us for The Main Event — the first day that Main Library will be open again! All ages are welcome at this free community celebration.🔹Tour the new Maker Labs, Children's Area, Teen Space, Meeting Rooms, Living Room, Event Spaces and take in the beautiful new modern features and amenities of Tacoma's beloved downtown library!
🔹Enjoy performances throughout the day — and arrive early to be part of a joyful procession into the building!
🔹Visit the much-anticipated Maker Labs to learn from library staff how to utilize the spaces and equipment in the Digital Media Lab, Memory Lab, and Wonder Lab for your creative endeavors
🔹Meet the members of the Community Hub and learn about how they are working with TPL to create an ecosystem of creativity, sustainability, and hands-on learning on the second floor
🔹Visit the Northwest Room and learn about their outreach, engagement, and new hours of operation
🔹Tour the refreshed Handforth Gallery for a showcase by local artists
