“The Magic’s in the Music!” takes you on a trip inside the jukebox – through the soundtrack of the Boomer generation. If you love classic rock & roll – especially lyric-driven songs by artists like Jesse Colin Young, The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Byrds, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, and more, you’re going to love this show. With carefully curated songs and narration, you’ll be taken back to the times when “groovin was grooving,” and the music reflected the emotional tone of life. Did you believe in magic back then? This 3-part musical journey will guide you through the history and impact of rock music and maybe even evoke your own fondest musical memories! This feel-good live music performance makes for the perfect experience of sophisticated fun and nostalgia.

The songs, while mostly familiar, were not chosen for nostalgic effect, but rather for their lyrical content. In three parts, the show is intended to take the audience members on a journey to their own pasts, then through an exploration of rock music’s own roots and impact, and finally to an intimate musical interaction with the players in the band who make the show so special.
