About this Event
DC's 5-Star Comedy Magic Show is bringing more magic to Where Magic Strikes - Pinstripes Georgetown! Enjoy the delicious, locally sourced Bisto dishes, great selection of beers, wines and cocktails, and delightful ambiance, then watch two snarky sleight-of-hand experts battle live and onstage, for the title of DC’s Best Magician in The Magic Duel.
Featuring Magician Mark Phillips vs. Mentalist Michael Jons, this show is full of seriously funny magic that will fool you. Badly. Audience members choose the magical challenges for the contest and then vote electronically to determine the winner of the coveted 'Golden Wand.' This 5-star rated show (Yelp, TripAdvisor, Google) has been wowing DC audiences continually since 2016.
"If you enjoy fast paced comedy and world class sleight of hand magic, don’t miss this show!! " -TripAdvisor Review
"I would give a million stars if I could. The perfect event for a date night, a night with friends...actually, perfect for anything!" - Yelp Review
When my friends said they had tickets to this I thought it was kind of a strange joke, but this was the most incredible show I've ever been to. The magic was incredible and the two magicians were actually funny, especially when they went off-script. I loved the concept of the game and the level of audience participation." - Google Review

FAQs
When should we get there?
Feel free to come early and enjoy the food and drinks at Pinstrips. The doors to the Magic Duel showroom will open 30 minutes before showtime. After you check in at the door, you can go inside and select your seats then visit the bar and bring drinks into the showroom.
Are there public safety requirements due to the Covid-19 pandemic?
As of April 1, 2022, The DC Mayor's Office has no specific safety mandates or requirements. We are committed to the safety and health of our staff and audiences and will adopt future mandates and requirements should they arise.
Are ID or age requirements for the show?
The Magic Duel is a show for adults that young people will enjoy too. The humor is clever and sophisticated and the magic genuinely jaw-dropping - this is not a kiddie magic show. That said, the jokes are strictly G-PG, and we go out of our way to be non-offensive and nice to everyone (except each other.)
What are my parking options for Pinstripes Georgetown?
There is a parking garage right next to Pinstripes, and some limited street parking if you are feeling lucky. We recommend looking for parking garages online or using the SpotHero app when you are making your plans to come.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
The Magic Duel is an independent show, not owned or operated by Pinstripes. For information or questions, you can email [email protected] or call or text 202-262-3617. Keep in mind if it is a Friday or Saturday night between 5:00 and 11:00 PM; we are probably on stage.
What's the refund policy?
If possible, we would love to reschedule you to a future show should a conflict arise. This saves your ticketing fee which is not always refundable. Ticket refunds are available up to one week before the show, no questions asked. We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us before your ticketed show and we can also transfer your tickets to another performance date. We are unable to make any changes the day of the show.
