Toronto-based composer and producer David Matisse, professionally known as akaMatisse through his solo work, is one third of the Juno Award winning electronic group Keys N Krates. Taking inspiration from composers and producers such as Hans Zimmer, and taking experience as a trained classical pianist, Matisse’s newest project the LowKey concert is "a modern take on a piano bar"

Through hosting the LowKey Concert Series, which is a collection of small intimate pop up concerts featuring classical piano, singer-songwriters and mellow beat making, Matisse offers a platform to display an array of genre-bending and head-turning music that subverts the expectations of its audience and brings classical music into the modern era.
