The Love Letter - A Tuesday Evening at the Typewriter

A candlelit evening with vintage typewriters, built around one theme: love.

• ​Come with your partner and sit across from each other.
• ​Come solo and write to yourself.
• ​Write to someone you're thinking about.
• ​Come because you want to write something and haven't in a while.

​Here's how the night works:

​8:00 - Arrive. Quick intro to the machines for anyone who hasn't used one before.

​8:15 - A few short warm-up pieces. I'll walk you through some moves and formats, pathways into the writing that might surprise you.

​8:45 - Short break.

​9:00 - The main event. One long stretch of writing. The candles are lit and you do what you need to do.

​Machines and paper provided. Prompts and examples on the table if you want them. No experience needed.
