About this Event
The Louise Da-Cocodia Education Trust in partnership with Professor Gus John will
be hosting a book fair and cultural festival on Friday 6 th and Saturday 7 th of January
2023. The event will be at Manchester Metropolitan University, Brooks Building,
Hulme Campus.
In collaboration with Manchester Poetry Library the centrepiece of the book fair is a
writing project. This project is aimed at encouraging children and young people to
not only examine the wide range of books on exhibition, but to see themselves as
potential authors, poets and illustrators. The exhibition will include books by:

The cultural festival will also include performances by Manchester’s talented
poets, musicians, dancers and performing artistes.
