The Loud Mouth Season is nearly over! February and March are our last opportunities to qualify for our 2023 Grand Slam in April! We look forward who joins the list in our Penultimate Open Slam! Along with our competition, we are showcasing our very own WoWPS Representative Ellis Merel! Ellis will have chapbooks and various artwork prints available for sale in their efforts to fundraise for their trip to Baltimore. So come prepared to buy some cool stuff!

ABOUT OUR FEATURE:
Ellis Merel (they/them) is a queer writer and artist from California. You can find their work on their website at https://www.ellismerel.com/ or their Instagram at @ellis.merel. They've spent most of their life in the California Central Valley. Ever since they discovered the spoken word poetry scene in high school, they've been in love with performing their work ever since. You can usually catch Ellis at poetry events in Fresno and the Loud Mouth Slam in Visalia. Ellis will be representing the Central Valley at the upcoming 2023 Womxn of the World Poetry Slam in Baltimore.
