This gentle, reflective service — often known as a “Blue Christmas” service — is especially designed for those who find the holiday season difficult or heavy. Held on the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, this worship time acknowledges the personal losses and quiet struggles that can surface during Advent. Together, we will create a safe and compassionate space for those experiencing heartbreak, loneliness or weariness, while also offering a movement toward healing and hope.
Rev. Karen Slusser, a mental health counselor and United Methodist pastor, will be our guest preacher, and Calvary’s Care Team will be present to support the service.
All are welcome.
