The first day of winter and the longest night of the year
is a somber event of utmost importance.
Please join in solidarity with local friends and neighbors
to honor and remember those in our community who
have experienced homelessness and who have lost
their lives in 2024.
Vigil will include reading of names, candle ceremony,
important words to reflect on, and a time of community
remembrance. Music provided by Mark Meek, Rae Gordon and Ken Brewer.
Those who attend are encouraged to bring new warm
socks or a new gently used warm winter coat.

Street parking is free in downtown Oregon City after 5 pm. Additional parking is located at the top of the elevator on High
Street – a quick elevator ride will take attendees down to Main Street.
