Friends of all ages, gather together to celebrate the darkness.... we will meet at sunset on the longest night of the year for scary candlelit winter fun.
There will be a storytelling performance of a tale just spooky enough to chill the spines of those over age 7 (younger kids are welcome to attend at your discretion). Interactive shadow puppetry will follow the story.
A small snack will be served. (Vegan and nut-free; if you plan to attend and have other allergy needs please message us.)
Suggested door price of five dollars per person or ten per family, but please attend even if you can't pay!
There is a black cat on the premises that just might make a timely appearance.
Building accessibility: this is an indoor event; masks are welcome. There are two steps leading to the front door.
There is a gender-neutral single user bathroom that is not wheelchair accessible. It is a teeny bathroom too small to change a diaper in, but there is a private room for diaper changing- please ask the host. (We are hoping to raise funds to remodel the bathroom to improve accessibility.)
There is limited chair seating for those who need it and floor cushions for those who are comfortable with that.
Street parking only; we are three blocks from the 38th street light rail station.
The Haunt is at 2612 E 38th Street.
See you on December 21st ?️ ? ?‍⬛
