Join Branden Singleton, Sabrina Cierpial, Matt Swanner + Alex Woodward Saturday October 1st at 6:30pm for a 3 hour journey through the yogic tradition!
Class will begin with a gathering of community in The Buddha Bar for a serving or two of tea before entering into Satsang where we get to connect with the person on the mat next to us.
Intentionally forming a deeper connection and relation to them as soul so that as you move through the practice you feel safe and supported by the whole that surrounds the parts.
A curation of musical mastery and prowess will fill the space as seats are settled into and ears will soon come to notice the scales not coming from speakers but our very own Matt Swanner.
Songs of devotion and love will reverberate through the space as if they were always meant to be there.
A mind opening meditation and journal prompting will calibrate our compasses before setting us on course into the great river of unburdening asana.
Pranayama will accentuate the entire practice as banks of the river that guide and wash us further and further down stream.
Asana will begin as a gentle babbling brook, gradually expanding into the nimble waters of organic and intuitive flow, preparing the body and distilling the mind.
As individual tributaries merge into The Great Channel, the power of the waters pick up speed, graciously gifting the strength to hold on as life becomes tough and we all go over a raging waterfall together. But like the Narmada, the trust and sweat given to this great river will swell enough to calm the waters and relinquish into the nourishing basin of Yin.
As the gravity of Yin seamlessly transitions into supportive Restorative, a healing wave of sound will reflect in the hearts of all.
Dripping like molasses the heart and mind will be eased into the stillness of Nidra where they are free to open the inner junk drawer and audit what truly belongs and what doesn’t.
The sweet sweet surrender of Savasana will come and go elegantly without a single disturbance in the field only to be broken by the call of Mantra.
The Mantra that calls to you is the one your heart yearns to sing, and what safer space to let your voice be heard than in the comfort of your own Home.
