The Long Table - Women Leading the Africa HealthTech Revolution
About this Event
Some conversations belong at a table.
The Long Table is an intimate gathering built for candour. Not a stage, not a panel but a table where proximity creates the kind of conversation that changes something. Twenty-five people. One table. One extraordinary guest at the centre of it. Over lunch on the second day of AHTSx Canada 2026.
This is not a side event. It's a room where the right conversation, with the right people, at the right moment, changes something.
Your guest: Hon. Huldah Momanyi Hiltsley Member of the Minnesota House of Representatives (District 38A) and the first Kenyan-born legislator elected to a U.S. state assembly. She arrived in Minnesota from Kisii, Kenya at nine, was elected in 2024 with 65% of the vote, and speaks from lived experience.
The conversation: "Seat at the Table: Women Leading the HealthTech Decade" A conversation, not a programme. The convener opens with a framing question. Our guest speaks. Then every voice at the table is heard, each guest asked one question tied to the theme. Seated, 90 minutes, no phones, no recording.
What you leave with One commitment — however small — named aloud and carried out of the room. And a written reflection from the table, shared with everyone afterward. Accountability made intimate.
Who's at the table Women founders and executives, researchers and academics, policy voices and advocates, mentors and investors, and emerging leaders — building digital health across Canada and the African continent. Priority seating for women; all allies welcome.
