Pre-Registration Required: https://wmich.edu/sustainability/projects-programs/living-woodshop Students, this Fall 2024 you can come to the Living Woodshop at the Office for Sustainability on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. starting August 30.
These hours are open so you can arrive and leave at any point or stay for the entire time.
The Open Shop is available for participants to:
◾ Learn new skills about low-impact woodworking
◾ Repair broken items (e.g. picture frames, spatulas, glasses, shoes, etc.)
◾ Make wooden items (e.g. cutting boards, spoons, bowls, soap dishes, etc.)
◾ Volunteer to help with on-going projects (e.g. benches, tables, podiums, etc.)
