Find out about the relationship between a star and its solar system in this updated version of a planetarium classic.The Little Star That Could is a story about Little Star, an average yellow star in search for planets of his own to protect and warm. Along the way, he meets other stars, learns what makes each star special, and discovers that stars combine to form star clusters and galaxies. Eventually, Little Star finds his planets. Each planet is introduced to the audience with basic information about our Solar System.
Guests will also be exposed to the current night skies and focus on the area of the sky known as the late summer triangle. Learning how to use a simple partial-sky star map is also included.
TICKETS ARE SOLD ONLINE ONLY. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
Please note that we are a ticketless venue. When you buy your ticket online or over the phone, you are immediately added to our attendee list so there is no need to print your ticket or present an e-ticket. You can just check-in on show night with your name and smile at the door.
Parking is free.
Food and drink are not allowed in the planetarium.
Most appropriate for our youngest astronomers, but all ages are welcome.
