The Little Match Girl, presented by Vancouver Chamber Choir & Belle Spirale Dance Projects

Based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen, David Lang’s Pulitzer Prize-winning The Little Match Girl Passion pairs sublime choral music with boundary-breaking choreography by renowned American choreographer, Kevin O’Day. Featuring dancers from Belle Spirale Dance Projects alongside the Choir, this co-production walks the tightrope between despair and hope, tale and reality, the past, and the present.
