China Johnson is a multimedia artist from Indianola, Iowa. She specializes in a diverse array of artistic techniques, including uniquely framed ink drawings, colored pencil illustrations, hand-cut paper collages, and acrylic paintings. Her work often features subjects such as fungi, animals, bones, botanicals, portraits, and all things vintage.
China places significant emphasis on conveying emotional expression and femininity through her art. When she is not immersed in her creative process, she works as a library assistant, shelving books and inspiring others to cultivate a love for reading.
