The Listening Room presents Ellington Unleashed

Distinguished jazz pianist Ellington Carthan has captivated audiences with his entrancing melodies and soulful harmonies. Highly in demand as performer, composer, and pedagogue, he is a former Strathmore Artist in Residence, and has recently performed for President Joseph Biden. We are delighted to have him for an evening of inspired jazz numbers, many of which will be featured on his upcoming album slated for release next year. For this performance, he will be joined by Knox Barber on Bass and Carroll Dashiell III on drums.

While the concert starts at 7pm, we invite you to arrive as early as 6pm for a reception with light hors d'oeuvres and beverages prior to the concert.
