The Listening Room: Presented by Homing Pigeon

Join us on Thursday 6th of November at Rainy Heart, where we’ll be taking over the space to launch our new monthly affair — The Listening Room.

The concept is pretty simple: we’ll be building a cosy, home-style listening environment where people can come together to share and chat about the records that matter to them. Each session will have a specific theme to guide selections. All we ask is that you bring a piece of vinyl related to it, however you see fit. Think of it as a book club for music enthusiasts.

The theme for our first get-together is TRANSITIONAL. A song to soundtrack the darkening days and colder weather? One that accompanied you through a period of change? We want to hear them. If you're thinking of bringing a record along, drop us a dm @homingpigeon___.

Whether you want to slump back into a beanbag and discover new music on the superb Turn End Audio system, or share a track with the group, we want this to be about celebrating the connections that arise through a shared listening experience. We also hope it can provide an opportunity to talk about music and the stories connected to it in a deeper way — something we feel doesn’t happen nearly enough.
